SBI Life launches ‘scholar’

SBI Life Insurance has launched ‘scholar’, a new policy for children upto 15 years of age in Chennai. The policy aims at taking over the financial burden of higher education and covers the parent and guardian by providing for immediate payment in case of their death subsequent to which no further premiums are to be paid. The policy offers the benefit of a guaranteed sum for children’s education. The sum assured for the policy ranges from Rs 50,000 to Rs 10 lakh with a maximum insurance period of 18 years.
