The College of Insurance and Financial Planning was established in October 1991 in order to promote learning and professionalism in insurance and related financial services.

Infrastructure

CIFP is now functioning in a leased premises occupying about 3800 sq. ft.

They have two full time course coordinators and 6 visiting faculty members. They also outsource for faculty with some of the institutions located in Hyderabad for special topics.

All their faculty members are fellows of the Federation of Insurance Institute of India with experience of 7/8 years in teaching.

All the programmes conducted by CIFP are marketing and market-oriented. CIFP is now a reputed institution known through out the country among the life insurance field people specially for quality conduct of their programmes.

CIFP also has a strategic alliance with LIMRA International based in USA. Under the auspices of CIFP-LIMRA International they conduct Marketing Management Schools. They have also made available reprints of LIMRA's Agent Development Library Services.
