Draft of IRDA (Third party administrators-Health) Regulations, 2001

In its Draft regulations for third party administrators, the Insurance Regulatory Development Authority (IRDA) has restricted sale of insurance policies by the TPAs.

Also, the insurance regulator among others has proposed a code of conduct for the outsourcing agencies with strict norms on information sharing, advertising and publicity.
